Kennesha “Kaye” Trueblood is a Harlem-born celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert whose work has touched the worlds of entertainment, fashion, and media. With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, Kaye has built a reputation for excellence, creativity, and professionalism—working with high-profile clients while maintaining a deep connection to her community.

Beyond her professional success, Kaye has always carried a passion for empowering young women. Through her work, she recognized that beauty has the ability to open doors—not just externally, but internally—helping individuals feel confident, seen, and valued.

Kayemakeup GlamStars Inc. was born from that understanding.

Combining her expertise in beauty with her commitment to youth development, Kaye created GlamStars to provide young women with access to the same sense of confidence, self-expression, and empowerment that beauty gave her—while also equipping them with life skills that extend far beyond the mirror.

Juah Johnson is a New York City–based celebrity fashion designer celebrated for bold, expressive designs that honor individuality, confidence, and culture. With a distinct voice in both fashion and beauty, Juah’s work embodies a refined balance of artistry and intention—shaping narratives of identity through elevated style.

As Board Chair, Juah provides strategic leadership and oversight for Kayemakeup GlamStars Inc., guiding the organization’s creative direction, brand identity, and overall visual presence. She works closely with leadership to ensure that all initiatives reflect a cohesive vision rooted in excellence, cultural relevance, and impact.

In addition to her work in fashion, Juah brings a strong public speaking presence, using her voice to inspire conversations around confidence, identity, and self-expression. She has engaged audiences through speaking engagements and creative platforms, empowering individuals to embrace their uniqueness and step boldly into their purpose.

Deeply passionate about uplifting and supporting young women, Juah is committed to helping create spaces where they feel seen, valued, and empowered. Her leadership reflects a genuine dedication to inspiring confidence, encouraging self-expression, and contributing to the development of the next generation of young women leaders.

Sage Rivera, a proud Brooklyn native, brings an extensive background in the human services field, with a strong focus on community engagement, education, and empowerment. His work has impacted diverse populations across New York City, utilizing innovative and effective methodologies to connect and uplift communities.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Sage is a recipient of multiple civic honors, including the Bronx Borough President Citation of Merit Award, NYC Council Proclamations, and a New York State Assembly Proclamation of Honor. As Treasurer, he ensures financial integrity, accountability, and sustainable growth for the organization.

At Kayemakeup GlamStars Inc., Sage leads community impact efforts by strengthening connections with youth, families, and local organizations. He helps ensure that programming is culturally relevant, accessible, and responsive to the real needs of the communities served. His leadership supports outreach, engagement, and the organization’s ability to create meaningful, lasting impact for young women.

Kenisha Watson is a results-driven operational resilience and crisis management leader with executive-level experience. She specializes in developing strategic communication systems that align teams, protect organizational integrity, and ensure operational excellence.

Known for her ability to lead with clarity in high-pressure environments, Kenisha brings structure, discipline, and preparedness to the organization. Guided by her philosophy, “Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance,” she plays a critical role in maintaining efficiency and long-term success.

We serve teen girls, particularly those in underserved and at-risk communities in HARLEM and across the New York City Tri-State area—young women who deserve to feel safe, supported, and empowered.
